Trident Align Transform Putting Mirror

Any golfer who is serious about improving their putting will benefit from using a putting mirror. Putting mirrors allow golfers to ensure their head position is correct and eliminates any unwanted head movement.

The Transform Putting Mirror’s standout feature is its compact size. Unlike most standard putting mirrors this mirror fits easily into a golf bag which means it is ALWAYS available for practice at home or on the golf course. Simply place it in the included drawstring protective pouch and keep it safely in any golf bag. The pouch is ideal to keep the mirror safe from scratches.

Trident Transform allows Golfers to Align their Eyes with the Golf Ball

There are right or Left handed models available.

Key Features

  • Mirrored section to provide feedback on eye position and head position at set-up, also allows golfers to spot any unwanted head movement during the stroke.
  • Square front edge to help ensure consistent putter face alignment at address.
  • Patented Trident Alignment guide markings allow golfers to work seamlessly with Trident Align marked golf balls, as if you were using a Trident ball marker ensuring an ideal starting line every time.
  • Four neatly concealed adjustable stems are housed on the underside of the mirror.
  • Set up an impact gate drill using the front stems to ensure consistent contact with the sweetspot of the putter.
  • Adjustable rear stems can be moved independently and used to control or dictate a specific stroke path. The rear stems can be positioned to help eradicate an in-to-out or out-to-in stroke path. They can also be positioned to engrain a specific stroke path (straight-to-straight), depending on a golfers’ stroke tendencies.

I’m Tiger Woods!

One of Tiger Woods’ go-to putting drills is to set up a “gate” for his putter to go through. By making the gate as tight as possible Tiger ensures that he hits the very centre of his putter with every stroke. If you have ever seen the well-documented image of Tiger’s Scotty Cameron Newport 2 putter you’ll see how well this practice drill has worked! The putter is severely marked exactly in the sweetspot.

Improve Putting Stroke with Trident Transform Mirror

The Transform Mirror allows golfers to replicate this drill with the extendible arms. Open the arms out and insert tees at the width of your putter, the narrower the tees are set the more accurate a golfer will need to be with their putting stroke. Trident have also included four posts to allow golfers to practice the same drill indoors where tees can’t be inserted into a mat.

Summary

If you’re looking for a compact mirror that fits in the palm of your hand I can highly recommend this product. The Trident Transform Mirror is an effective training tool that would make a great gift for golfers of all abilities! 🎁

To be clear, this isn’t a substitute for a full-size putting mirror, but the compact nature means that it is perfect for a golfer that ALWAYS wants a putting mirror nearby. I keep this in my bag and use it pre-round to warm up. For full-length practice putting sessions, I use a full-size putting mirror.

The only negative I found with this mirror is that the back alignment markers are a little narrow. If you’re using tees in the back markers then larger putter heads such as my L.A.B 2.1 will not work. They’re not something I would use on a warm-up session anyway, but if you want to use them, then check that the centre of your putter is no more than 55mm from the edge of the blade.
