Shot Scope New Features
It’s time to update your watch!
One of the things that I most love about Shot Scope products is their free innovation. Shot Scope are regularly adding more features to their products and at no extra cost to the consumer.
Last week Shot Scope added some new exciting updates for the X5 and V5 watches. You can now switch to a large digit display mode for easier reading, and they’ve added French and German translations to make your experience even better.
Large Digit Display Mode
If you’re all about keeping things simple, you’re going to love Large Digit Display Mode!
Once you turn it on from the settings menu, your front, middle, and back screen will switch to a clean, easy-to-read display with a single number right in the center of the green.
It’s perfect for when you want to check your distance at a glance or if reading smaller text on your GPS watch is tricky.
And don’t worry — you can turn it on or off anytime from the watch’s settings when you’re off the course, or straight from the game menu when you’re playing.
Personally, this new feature isn’t for me yet! I can still read the digits okay in the standard format, but I know other golfers that use Shot Scope that struggle to read the smaller numbers and will definitely love this update. Sldo, golfers that want less distraction may benefit from this simpler display.
French and German Translations
Welcome to Europe! French and German languages can now be selected within the options for the Shot Scope V5 and X5 watches.
These features are the available with following firmware updates:
X5: 2.2.7
V5: 1.8.45
