Shot Scope Performance Page Updates

Shot Scope Performance Page Updates

Our friends at Shot Scope have recently unveiled significant enhancements to their performance tracking platform, aiming to provide us golfers with deeper insights and a more personalised experience.

The updates are being rolled out in three phases: Aesthetics, Statistics, and Insights. Phases 1 and 2 have now been completed, introducing a refreshed interface and advanced statistical features. Phase 3 is expected to land very soon.

Below we’ll take a look at the headlines from these first two updates.

Phase 1: Shot Scope Performance Pages – Aesthetic Overhaul

Launched in March 2025, the first phase focused on revamping the visual aspects of the Shot Scope performance pages on both their mobile app and web dashboard. The redesign aligns with the updated Shot Scope homepage, offering a cleaner and more intuitive layout.

Key enhancements include:

  • Simplified Tee Shot Dispersion Graphics: The new design makes it easier to analyse your tendencies off the tee, allowing golfers to quickly identify patterns in their drives. I much prefer this visualisation to the older versions because it makes the information much clearer and quicker to see.

  • Enhanced Filtering Options: Users can now filter data by specific time frames, such as the last 5 or 10 rounds, and compare their performance against various handicap benchmarks.
  • Interactive Data Navigation: The updated interface allows for seamless navigation through different statistics, with swipe gestures enabling users to explore performance trends over time.

These aesthetic improvements from Shot Scope aim to make data analysis more accessible, helping users to set informed goals and trackprogress effectively.

Phase 2: Shot Scope Performance Pages – Advanced Statistical Features

Released in April 2025, the second phase introduced substantial statistical enhancements, offering golfers more detailed insights into their game.

Highlights of this phase include:

  • Personalised Statistic Selection: Golfers can now choose up to six favorite statistics to display on their homepage, streamlining access to the most relevant data. This customisation is available on both the mobile app and web dashboard. I chose to add Tee Shots Accuracy, Approaches Proximity, Green Success, Short Game Proximity, Distance of Putts Made and Putts Per Round. Let me know in the comments below which stats you find most useful.
  • Strokes Gained by Club: A highly requested feature, this addition allows golfers to evaluate the performance of each club in their bag. By analysing strokes gained or lost per club, users can now make informed decisions about equipment choices and identify areas for improvement. I love this feature! It offers me a whole new level of data to analyse, allowing me to choose the best clubs to put in my bag on any given day.

These statistical tools are designed to empower golfers with actionable insights, facilitating targeted practice and strategic adjustments to enhance overall performance.

With the completion of Phases 1 and 2, Shot Scope continues to advance its free platform, providing golfers with comprehensive tools to analyse and improve their game. The upcoming Phase 3 is anticipated to introduce further insights, building upon the robust foundation established by the previous updates. There’s so much data you can get and unlike most of their competitors, Shot Scope offer this without a monthly fee!
